National General Strike planned for the 29th September in Spain / Canaries

As you may already know on 29.09.10 there is a general strike planned in Spain. Many comments have been made in the News and currently on this date there will be minimum compulsory services in transport, hospitals, etc… Latest news is that only 20% of the European flights will be allowed in the Spanish territory. Please contact your flight provider in order to confirm / check your flight detail has not been cancelled.

As a result airport transfers are not guaranteed at all on this day. There is currently no easy solution as even regular taxis are not guaranteed.

We therefore recommend that your transfer departure dates are amended to 28.09.10 or 30.09.10 to avoid this strike action.
