Tribute to the Polish tour operators Itaka in Gran Canaria


The square is located in the resort golf course, at the intersection of Avenue Neckermann and Maspalomas ravine, was named on Thursday with the name of Itaka, in homage to the Polish tour operators these days holds a conference in San Bartolome de Tirajana .

The square has native vegetation and has a monolith with its new name, which opened on Thursday during a ceremony attended by the Mayor of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, María del Pino Torres, the Minister of Tourism of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Roberto Moreno, the consul of Poland, Bogdan Dziekonski, the president of Touroperador Ithaca, Mariusz Janczuk and several Councillors of the Corporation and the tourist over 250 vendors who attended the conference.

Torres said that this act want to show the "most sincere thanks to Ithaca, to its directors and all travel agents, the promotion held every day throughout the year," Costa Canaria Maspalomas as a superb tourist destination and unique. "

For his part, Minister of Tourism Roberto Moreno, said that this square dedicated to Ithaca "symbolizes that Polish tourists are here to stay and are already in our hearts."
